Cathaoirleach Cllr John Campbell, on behalf of the elected members, management and staff of Donegal County Council would like to wish Jim McGuinness and Declan Bonner and the Donegal teams all the best for their all Ireland finals on Sunday.
Speaking this week the Cathaoirleach said “it is a great boost for Donegal to have our two teams competing in this years all Ireland final and win or loose we will all be there to support both teams and their managers. The excitement that has been generated by the Donegal football teams is tremendous and we are all looking forward to a great weekend of sport.” |
The Cathaoirleach concluded by saying that “we are urging all motorists to take care on the roads this weekend and especially those who will be travelling to the matches in Croke Park. Donegal County Council and the Road Safety Working Group has been working with Donegal GAA to highlight road safety messages throughout the year and senior player Ryan McHugh has been a great ambassador for this campaign. This weekend we are simply asking motorists to slowdown and drive safely”.
